17 Magnetized Grey

Another of those pesky magnetic polishes. This time the Grey one from Boots.
Without flash.

Hehe getting better!
And with flash.

Slightly over exposed! Soz. All above 1 coat.

I found it better this time round, this being my 3rd attempt! Again, the polish is easy to use, easy to apply and dries really quickly. Getting a better design each time. Yah. I used 1 coat for this, I really think 2 would have been better, I know next time!

8 out of 10 for this. £5.99 from Boots.

China Glaze Flying Dragon (Neon)

I got this and was really looking forward to wearing it! Purple-tastic.

How cool does that colour look in the bottle?? :-)
Without flash. Natural light.

Matte? *gasp*
With flash.
All above are 2 coats.

So as you can see this is nearly matte, which I didn't know when I bought it! There was no indication of this. I do like the colour and would wear it again, maybe with a glossy top to see what it looks like shiny.

This polish is easy to use, easy to apply and being matte, dries really quickly. 2 coats does and it went on nicely. I really didn't like it at first, maybe because I was disappointed? But it grew and grew on me and now I really love it! It lasted well and didn't scuff.

7 out of 10. About £6.50 from Sally Salon Services. Can't remember exact price *doh*!

17 Magnetized Green

Another magnetic polish that I got for Xmas! This time it's the green one.

Lol apologises for having a different colour on (one coming soon).
Without flash.

And with flash.
All above are 1 coat.

I do really like the magnetic polishes but find them tricky to use! This is easy to hold, easy to apply and quick drying. I used plates that I bought on eBay and they are quite hard to use and I find it damn near impossible not to touch the nail with the plate! It's about getting into the swing and getting the knack for it. I'm slowly getting better at it. But the fact the polish is quick drying doesn't help my cause! Nice colour and nice patterns.

Deborah Lippmann Stairway To Heaven

I had been after this one for ages and held off buying it from America as I hoped Frasers would get it in, and they finally did!!!! Yippee. Little did I know just how awesome it really is! I put if on top of the previous post.

And with flash.

All above 1 coat. This is easy to use, easy to apply and gives good coverage with 1 coat. It's very sparkly and iridescent. Quick drying too. It's a clear base so can be put on top of light colours. Amazing. I tried my best to capture it! :-)

Illamasqua Wink

Another of the Illamasqua polishes that I got with Santa money! This is a light purple pastel colour.

Without flash.

Natural light.

This is easy to use and hard to apply! It is very streaky so you need to be careful, it's a pastel after all! I found having a lot on the brush helped, but make sure you don't have too much! It's very quick dying and 2 coats gave an awesome finish. It lasted well. For a pastel colour this is excellent, as long as you get the knack for applying it. It's by far the easiest one I've used. And it's a beautiful colour.

8 out of 10. £13.50 from Debenhams and worth it! Also online too.

Chanel 529 Graphite

Having already tried Peridot, I thought it was high time I got around to trying another of the trio. This one is Graphite. It's a silvery gunmetal colour with gold flecks to it.

With flash.
And natural light.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and is quick drying. It's a very good quality polish and 2 coats does. It's silvery gunmetal with some golden sparkle to it and quite glittery. Top notch polish.

8 out of 10. Got it from Debenhams for £17.50, I think it's still available in some stores and easy to pick up on eBay at varying prices. Worth the money.

China Glaze Oxidized Aqua Crackle

I have fancied getting these for a while, the metallic crackles, so I picked up a few from Sally Salon Services. This one is blue/aqua marine!

Without flash.

And with flash.

All above are 1 coat.

I put this on top of the last post. It's easy to use, easy to apply and the brush is very good for this type of polish. It's quick drying and 1 coat does. It's a nice colour and very metallic.

8 out of 10. Picked it up for £6.49. It's easy to get online.
