Models Own - Red Sea

 

This is okay to use, okay to apply and okay drying (5-6 minutes a coat). The formula is quite gloopy and thick but it does go on well. From what I have read of this it seems to be a thicker gloopy formula. The brush is good. Hmmm I wasn't really impressed with this at all, I think it looks better in the bottle. It does look okay on the darker colour as it really shows it off.

Models Own - Smash Up Orange

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1 minute a coat). The brush is medium sized and the formula is okay, it is sheer but cracks well. I think it looks much better on lighter colours and didn't work too well on the dark colour as you can see in the last photo.

Models Own - Grace Green

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (4-5 minutes a coat). The brush is medium sized and good. The formula goes on well too. It is a kinda greeny grey colour I think. It is a one coater!!! It did suffer tip wear, so 2 coats would probably be better. Okay if you want to wear it for a night though. I actually liked this one more than I thought I would!

Models Own - Polychromatic

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying on the second coat (10 minutes) but the first coat does dry quickly. The brush is good and the formula is okay. It is nice enough but not really that iridescent as I would have expected. Lasted well.

Models Own - Hayley's Comet

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The brush is medium sized and good and the formula goes on nicely. It is a lovely shimmery iridescent polish. This polish must be well over 10 years old! I posted one from this collection back in January 2012! I love the shift in this polish and looks good solo and as a topper. This lasted really well.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying (7-8 minutes a coat). Ugg and it took 3 coats as well...too long! The formula is okay but a tad on the sheer side and the brush is really good. It is a nice pink with a silver shimmer. Lasted really well only bummer was the drying time.

Models Own - Liquorish Allsorts

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4 minutes a coat). The brush and formula are both good. It is a lovely black creamy polish. BUT it is scented too! The scent is strong when painting but is less so when it dries. I'd say it lasted a good 12 hours and it does smell like the Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts, if you know those sweeties. I really wanted to lick my nails and it put me in the mood for these sweets, but I cannot have them as they contain gelatine. Lasted really well, good scent and decent black cream polish.

Models Own - Chrome Green

 

This is okay to use, tricky to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes a coat). These type of chrome polishes are prone to bald spots and quite brush strokey too and this one certainly is. Careful application is required, try to reduce how many strokes you do on each nail. It is nice enough and quite a shiny green. It did last well though, usually these sort of polishes don't in my experience!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It is a greeny blue iridescent polish. It is also very shiny too! Sadly it is slightly brush-strokey so careful application is required, though I think it looks less in the green form compared to the blue! Lasted well.

Models Own Irised

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (4 minutes a coat). The brush is really good and makes painting easy! It is a slightly iridescent polish - copper, bronze and pink can all be seen. It is nice but the iridescent effect isn't very strong. Lasted well.

Models Own Freak Out

I put this over Colour Alike's Yellow Flash.

This is okay to use, okay to apply and slow drying (9-10 minutes a coat). Make sure you have plenty glitter on the brush by dipping it in and out of the bottle a few times before application. It is a really nice glitter and I think it looks great on the yellow! I can forgive the slow drying time ;-) Lasted well.

Models Own Disco Inferno

I put this on top of Avon Lavished Blue!

And with the flash:

This is okay to use and okay to apply. Make sure there is plenty on the brush for good coverage. Dip it in and out a few times before applying to the nail. It is really slow drying (at least 10 minutes a coat). It is a pretty cool looking glitter and looks good over the blue! Lasted well.
