Dior Waterlily

I'm not really a fan of the Dior polishes, not many appeal to me. So when I was out shopping the other day and this one caught my eye, I just HAD to have it! And scented too! It's a lovely green shimmery colour.

This is easy to use and easy to apply. The lid is easy to hold as well. The brush is quite thick but application is okay. It's quick drying and dries to a good finish. Now the scent was lovely. It's unlike any other scented polish I've had before. It's pleasant, it lasted well and it was like a perfume for the first 24 hours. After the first day, it was more like a shower gel or soap, which wasn't a bad thing, probably because it wasn't as strong. I'd say the smell lasted at least 3 days. It was gorgeous and the colour is lovely too. In certain light you can really see that blue shimmer, I think I've caught it in the 3rd pic of the bottle! And it lasted well!!!

8 out of 10. £18 is very pricey but it's worth it for sure. Most major department stores with a Dior counter sell it but I think you might get it slightly cheaper on eBay.

Orly Halley's Comet

This polish is easy to use, easy to apply and the brush is super duper! It's quick drying and 2 coats gives a good finish. I'd say it's greeny with a lovely gold shimmer, almost iridescent :-) It lasted well and certainly got a few nice compliments. I love it.

Illamasqua Faux Pas

This nail polish intrigued me when I first noticed it on the official website. It is described as having a 'Rubber finish', I wondered what on earth they were on about. So it got added to my basket along with a few others. What me in need of help???? It's a gorgeous purple that doesn't disappoint.

All above are 2 coats and I can see what they mean by rubber finish! Not what I'd call matte either. I love it!

This nail polish is easy to use, easy to apply and fairly quick drying. The lid makes it very easy to hold and the brush is top notch. Rubber finish indeedy and it looks so cool. It doesn't last long and scuffs easily, so be very careful if you are wearing it. Love it, love it, love it! Can't wait to try the others.

Deborah Lippmann Today Was A Fairytale

Yah another of those cool Lippmann polishes! And one that can be picked up in the UK from Frasers. Silver-tastic. I put it on top of the previous post.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying. The base is darker than I had expected so on top of pink wasn't the brightest idea I've ever had! Would look awesome on a darker colour for sure. I think it actually looked okay on top of the pink, but slightly darkened it. It's lovely, it's shiny and it's sparkly!

8 out of 10. I think it was £16 from Frasers. Instore or online and various prices from eBay.

OPI Flower To Flower

This is a pretty girlie pink polish.

This is a good polish, it's easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying. It went on smoothly and 2 coats gives a good finish. It's quite eye catching too! Lovely.

7 out of 10. Got this one online. Think you can pick it up from eBay or Amazon and several other places easily.

Orly Rock The World

My first Orly post :-) We have here Rock The World, a purple-ish delight with a golden shimmer.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and is quick drying. Application was good and the brush rocks! It looks purple/gold with 2 coats and bronze/purple with 1 coat! Got plenty of +ve comments! It's really nice.

Picked up the Mineral FX set from eBay from a US seller. 8 out of 10 :-)
