I'm a simple Scottish girl with an unusual name and a strange obsession for nail polish! My aim is to capture what the eye sees, with a camera! Too much nail polish and never enough time. I have also started wildlife photography, which I enjoy very much. Welcome to my little world :-)

Zoya Opal

Yah a lovely flakie nail polish from Zoya. The green one. Put it on top of last post.

Artificial light.

In natural light.

All above are 1 coat on top of Illamasqua's Smash.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying. The brush rocks. It's gorgeous and changes from green to blue. It lasted well and I love it.

Illamasqua Smash

Another of those fabby Illamasqua polishes. This time a green one.

In artificial light.

And in sort of sunlight!

All above are 2 coats.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and has a good brush. It certainly goes on the nail nicely and it's quick drying. It does need 2 coats though as 1 is quite weak. It's a nice shade of green, that's a wee bit different. I wouldn't say it was glossy, the Illamasqua site describes it as : "Bright Grass Green, Glossy Finish".  It certainly lasted well too. Really like it.

7 out of 10. £13.50 from their website or Debenhams.

Nfu.Oh #37

Oh my goodness another of those lovely Nfu.Oh polishes. I really like this brand! This is a flakie and wonderful.

Sunlight.

Shade.

Artificial.
All above 2 coats on top of last post.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and the brush is good. Used it as a top coat on top of Chanel's Black Pearl and used 2 coats! 1 coat was quick drying but the second was a bit slower. It slightly changed the colour of Black Pearl, but not much. It's amazing and lovely how is shifts between green and orange. Lasted well. Love it. Hawt Hawt Hawt!

Chanel 513 Black Pearl

Just had to dig this one out again and wear it.

Check out that lovely greeny shimmer in the top one! Yikes how awesome.

Without flash.

With flash.
And natural light.

All above 2 coats.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and has a good brush. The lid is easy to hold and makes painting the nails easy. It's very good quality and quick drying. It was the second Chanel polish I ever bought. Mr Posh bought me Vendetta and started it all off (thanks babes :-p). I would have to say that they are worth the money for sure (though Mr Posh doesn't agree). Certainly the colours I like! Gorgeous colour that lasted well too.

9 out of 10. From Chanel counters in various places and online too. £17.50 and as I say worth it.

Nfu.Oh #66 Green Holographic

OMG I've got some Nfu.Oh polishes, never thought in my wildest dreams I would be able to have these! Seriously folks, I love holographic nail polish. This is the green one.

All the following in natural light *WITHOUT TOP COAT*

Haha a guest apperance by righty!
And now *WITH TOP COAT* Nubar Diamont.

All above are 2 coats.

This is easy to use and the lid is nice to hold. Have to say it was a bit streaky at first but I got used to it. So practise! It's mega quick drying I must say. I used the Aqua Base Coat and found that to be quick drying too. Just how awesome does it look????? AMAZING! I love it. You certainly need sunlight to get the full effect, but it does look good in artificial light. I used 2 coats and felt that was enough. Now with the top coat, I didn't notice a difference at all. It certainly didn't take away from the holo nature of the polish. Did I say just how cool it is? Hehe ;-)

10 out of 10 for sure. Worth the mega dosh! Easy enough to pick up online at various prices.
