About Me

Scotland
I'm a simple Scottish girl with an unusual name and a strange obsession for nail polish! My aim is to capture what the eye sees, with a camera! Too much nail polish and never enough time. I have also started wildlife photography, which I enjoy very much. Welcome to my little world :-)

Deborah Lippmann It Girl

This is part of the Run The World Girls set and it's awful, bloody awful! I've never felt so disgusted by a nail polish in my whole life! On with the show....

This is easy to use, easy to apply and mega quick drying. It's absolutely horrible. It looks like I had nicotine stains on my nails, not the lovely yellow in the bottle. Why on earth was the nail polish ever created????? I took pictures of this and then removed it. I've tried a few others from the set and been impressed, but not with this. Yuck!

Rating
Easy to use = 8/10
Application = 8/10
Drying time = 9/10
Lasted well = swatched
Coats = 3
Finish = matte
Removal = easy
Overall = horrible nail polish but decent quality

My Personal Rating = 0/10 :-(

  1. That colour does not look appealing at all! Have you tried using a white base first before applying? It might help the colour situation going on here

    1. I might just try that, anything to make it look better!

  2. I would suggest that, too--try it over a white base. I think it would look good as a base for nail art or glitter, too... maybe? LOL Yellows tend to be pretty awful on me, too, and I'm not loving the sheerness of this polish.

  3. Oh, I'm sorry, but I'm not loving this either. I know yellows are hard, but DL should be able to do better than this.

    IA with the suggestions of putting white under it - maybe layer some glitter through it too, it looks like a 'jelly' sort of finish so that might work.
