Deborah Lippmann Dancing In The Sheets



This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (1-2 minutes a coat). It's a pretty dark purple with a lovely blue shimmer. Some of the above photos are taken with the flash to show off the shimmer. It is also slightly iridescent! Slight tip wear but lasted well otherwise.

**Now a funny thing happened....this chipped within 30 minutes of wearing it and all I was doing was watching TV! As it was late and I needed to get to bed, I decided to put a top coat on it so it wouldn't chip anymore!** It then chipped really badly at work. I had only changed my base coat a few days prior and worn Avon Hot (which also chipped slightly). I've never had bad chipping like this before. So I decided to try wearing it again with my Butter London base coat. And what do you know, it didn't chip and lasted really well. I will review the base coat on my other blog, hopefully tomorrow.

    Great shade! and such a fast chipping... So I have mixed feelings towards this nail polish now ;) Anyway it looks pretty! How's your dog, Ananka, btw?

    Lovely shade! Weird that your base coat seems to do that to your polishes, chipping within 30 minutes is definitely not okay!

    Gorgeous shade...Too bad the base made it chip (at least you found out it chipped because of the base ;-)) and it was not DL's fault)!
