It is that time of year again! So will be posting the contents of this Advent Calendar from tomorrow. I wonder what it holds this year :-)

Deborah Lippmann - I Know What Boys Like

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (4-5 minutes a coat). The brush is thin but good. This is a nice blue purple, I think it was quite hard to capture. These blue purples often are! Lasted really well.

Nails Inc - TBT

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (4-5 minutes a coat). The brush is wide and paints the nail nicely. Brown really isn't my colour and only really bought this as it was in the sale! It is a great quality nail polish and lasted well and it is a one coater. Just not my colour, but ideal if you like browns and looking for a quick manicure.

Hits - Borealis

 

This is another polish that had dried up and tried to save. I have to say it fared better than the last post.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (5-6 minutes a coat). It is a nice iridescent glitter and shows different colours: green, gold, blue and rose gold can be seen. Looks good solo and think it would layered too. I like this and was happy it performed well after thinning and saving! Lasted well.

Morgan Taylor - To Rule Or Not To Rule

This polish had dried up and I tried to save it. 

This had dried up and added thinner to try to rescue it! It was still fairly gloopy, so hard to use and hard to apply. I am sure a normal bottle would have been a lot easier! Drying time was actually okay (4-5 minutes a coat). It is a nice matte glitter and it is slightly textured. I like the colour. It lasted well but this sadly stainted my nails, not sure if it would have done that normally - does anyone have experience with this polish?

Lottie - Play Pretend

So one of my nails snapped, they were quite long! So they are short again.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The brush is really good and makes painting the nail easy. This one has a nice shimmer and little red dots too. Not really my colour but I like the extras it has to offer. Used 2 coats but think 3 would have been better. Lasted really well.

a-England - Captive Goddess

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (4-5 minutes a coat). It is a gorgeous blue/grey holo that is slightly iridescent too. Blues, greys and purples can been seen!  It looks really good and lasted really well.

Dance Legend - There She Goes

 

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It is a gorgeous pink with an amazing shimmer and it is also glow in the dark! It really is wonderful and super gorgeous. The brush is really good and makes it easy to paint with. The Dance Legend brushes are always good. This lasted really well.

Nails Inc - Out Of Hours

 

Last photo in the sun (yes it was sunny in Scotland!!!) and all others indoor studio lights.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and good drying (3-4 minutes a coat). The brush is wide and makes it easy to paint the nail with, I like this brush. It is a lovely deep dark green that looks black! I think in sun it does look dark green! It is nice and it lasted really well too.
