Max Factor Aqua Marine

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It's a mixture of creamy and jelly - crelly I guess you'd call it ;-) It isn't really my normal colour, but funnily enough I quite liked wearing this one! Must admit to buying this in the sale though! This new style to Max Factor has a good brush and lid is comfortable to hold. Lasted really well. It's not really what I'd call "Aqua Marine" though :-|

Color Club Blue-topia

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (about 3-4 minutes a coat). It's a lovely deep inky blue colour, it's very rich. This brush is easy to use and the lid is comfortable to hold. I only swatched this and had it on for a maximum of 2 hours and had terrible staining. I first tried to remove it without the foil method - bad staining then with the foil method I also had bad staining too!!!! So no idea how long it lasted.

OPI Stay The Night

This is easy to use, easy to apply and slow drying for a texture (about 4-5 minutes a coat).  It's a pretty black texture with red glitter. It was really easy to apply. Lasted well but did notice tip wear on my left index finger - no where else though!

China Glaze Define Good...

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3-4 minutes a coat). It is a gorgeous jewel-toned colour which I really like. It's so, so pretty. I wasn't going to buy this polish, but my husband talked me into getting it - so glad he did! Lasted really well.

a-England Fotheringhay Castle

A rare sunny day in Scotland could only mean one thing....a holo! :-)

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 3 minutes a coat). The formula is quite thick but easy to work with and it only requires one coat! It's a very pretty holo and looks good in the sunshine! Only wore this for about 6 hours so don't know how well it would have lasted. Only used a regular base coat, not an aqua one!

China Glaze I Love Your Guts

I know this is a little late! This is part of the recent China Glaze Hallowe'en collection!

This is easy to use, easy to apply and MEGA quick drying (about 20 seconds or less). I hadn't even finished painting my hand and the thumb & index fingers were dry!!!!! It's a slightly textured polish that is matte. At first I thought it was a bit weird looking from swatches I'd seen but I was still drawn to it! Having had it on - I do really, really like it. I had noticed slight tip wear on both index fingers but none of the others and it lasted well otherwise.

Sparitual Flamenco

Another new brand for the blog! Spotted this in TK Maxx and fancied trying it.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (3 minutes a coat). It's a lovely textured polish and I like how it looks. Texture wise it isn't too rough. The brush is really good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It had one major issue though ---> it chipped quite badly! I've not experience such chipping with a texture before! I was quite surprised that it didn't last long as I've read this is a good brand! :-O

Revlon Fresh Linen

This is okay to use and awkward to apply. The polish is really thin and streaky. It is okay drying wise (3-4 minutes a coat). This requires 4 coats to get a decent finish!!!! It's scented and not too overpowering. It smells like fabric conditioner - just a general non-bio one. I did noticed with this one that the lid was hard to hold and use with my long nails, this is something I hadn't noticed when my nails were shorter. Lasted really well and the scent was still there the next day too.

Color Club Glitter Wonderland

This is easy to use, easy to apply and okay drying (about 3 minutes a coat). Make sure you have plenty of polish on the brush as it's quite small & thin. This is a gorgeous purple with subtle glitter. I really like it. Lasted really well.

Filthy Gorgeous Brill

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 minutes a coat). The brush is good and the lid is comfortable to hold. It's a pretty red colour. Slight scuffing but lasted well otherwise.

OPI Push & Pur-Pull

This is okay to use and okay to apply. Like the others before it, this one is quite streaky. This one is also very sheer, even after 3 coats! Drying wise it is okay - about 2 mins a coat. I did like the finish - rubbery jelly! I must admit I really didn't like the colour and put a topper on it - one which will feature soon on the blog. No idea of lasting time as I put the topper on shortly after they dried! :-O I do love purples, but I really didn't take to this one! :-|

Ciate Poppet

This is really hard to use and hard to apply. Like the others before it, this is a really streaky polish! Make sure you use minimal brush strokes and have plenty of polish on the brush. It is mega quick drying though (less than 20 seconds a coat!!!!!). It is really pretty colour though and I do like the finish a lot. Lasted well.

Dance Legend Caravan

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (2 minutes a coat). The brush is quite wide, but I found it to be okay for my nails - could be an issue if you have smaller nails though. The glitter in the bottle looks iridescent and it is more subtle on the nail but noticeable with good eyesight! I really liked this textured polish. Lasted really well.

a-England Queen Of Scots

a-England have recently released a new collection of polishes - Elizabeth & Mary Collection. I ordered them last week and this the the first one I tried.

This is easy to use, easy to apply and quick drying (about 2 mins a coat). It is a gorgeous deep jewel blue colour. The formula is quite thick but applies okay and the brush is good. Lasted really well.
***upon removal had some staining, I the tried the foil method and still had slight staining on the nails***
